Contrary to what people often think, curtains are not the only option for decorating windows. Depending on your needs, taste and the style desired, discover the alternatives to installing made-to-measure curtains.

BLINDS

Roman blinds are made from a fabric panel, the back of which contains a cord system allowing the blind to be opened and closed. It is attached to a mechanism or a metal strip, allowing it to be easily taken down for washing. We recommend blinds which are specially designed for net curtains or lined or unlined fabric. Net curtains offers an elegant way of controlling or minimising the amount of sunlight coming into your home. They are only used where the view does not need to be blocked completely, but they go very well with curtains to create a luxurious look.

Curtain headings for all interior design styles

Your choice of curtains doesn't stop at the fabric colour or pattern. There is a whole range of curtain headings, a decorative item in its own right, injecting a particular style into your window décor. Our curtains and net curtains are available in several heading styles to give you your desired design.

SINGLE PLEAT

The pleats are stitched evenly and are more or less defined by a depth of 3 or 4cm. This finish gives a classic, simple and elegant appearance. Given the width of the curtains, a 1.8 long rail is recommended. Stitches located on the back of the pleat allow the curtain to be attached to the rail/bar. Two types of hooks are available: Microflex hooks, synthetic, which are sewn into the pleat and allow you to adjust the height of the curtains. The metal hooks to stitch on are pinned into the seam of the pleat upside down.

DOUPLE PLEAT

When the curtains are made using the double pleat method, the pleat remains visible all the way down to the bottom of the curtain. The amount of fabric required is naturally more than with the single pleat. This finish gives a classic, elegant and sophisticated look. Given the width of the curtains, a 2.5 long rail is recommended.

TRIPLE PLEAT

A finish with a very elegant appearance with a pleat which is visible right down to the bottom of the curtain.

REVERSE PLEAT

The ideal choice for an elegant, contemporary finish to your drapes. This is a good option for showcasing a pattern, as long as it is the folds are in the right place.

EYELETS

This is a classic curtain heading finish. It gives a regular ripple effect, with a simple and contemporary look, while being simple to use. The eyelets are attached directly onto the fabric, saving space as the curtains are folded. The diameter of the metal eyelet is 4 cm in standard size. Given the width of the curtains, a 1.8 long rail is recommended..

WAVE

The wave fold gives a perfect regular ripple effect. The folds are instantly reformed after each fold. This type of fold give a modern and contemporary look. The rail sliders are attached by string to keep the distance between the folds the same throughout.

RUFFLETTE

A cost-effective and sophisticated solution for your curtains. A band is sewn onto the trim of the curtain in order to attach hooks to hang from the bar or rail. .

WATTEAU PLEAT

The appropriate choice for net curtains, providing a contemporary finish to your home, letting in soft, gentle light.
